Originally created in 1950 by Russell Spanner, the Lounge Chair with Arms has become a classic of Canadian Mid-Century Modern furniture design. Out of production for more than 50 years, Gus* worked in collaboration with the Spanner family to revive this iconic chair.
The White Hanging Lamp is a simple, modern light fixture crafted from translucent white acrylic. The geometric design casts a pleasing ambient light above dining tables or work spaces. It can be adjusted for ceilings up to 12ft, and includes a stainless steel ceiling plate which complements the acrylic shade.
The Vintage Swing Arm Lamp is a simple, wall-mounted light with a modern, industrial aesthetic that highlights the sculptural qualities of both the fixture and the bare light bulb. The stainless steel, cantilevered arm pivots 180 degrees.
The Gus* version of the perfect modern rocking chair; featuring a powder coated frame with architecturally-styled cushions inspired by airport lounge seating and 70’s car interiors.
I can’t stand a naked light bulb, any more than I can a rude remark or a vulgar action.
