David J. Solimine, Jr.

Since graduating from high school in 1976, David has been an active member of the North Shore business community. By profession, Dave is a licensed funeral director who manages the family owned Solimine, Landergan and Richardson Funeral Homes in Lynn, with his Dad.

Dave is also a licensed construction supervisor. Active in real estate investing and development, he has built over 100 new homes and condominiums and renovated a number of properties on the North Shore.

At lucía lighting and design, Dave supervised the building renovations and the construction of the warehouse. He also manages the company finances, any building issues, as well as long term planning and marketing.

Dave and his wife, Patty, have two grown sons. Oldest son Michael joined lucía lighting at its inception, while younger brother, Joel, is an apprentice funeral director in the family firm.

Dave and his family are well known for their community support and philanthropy throughout the North Shore. Dave is a major benefactor of North Shore Medical Center as well as Hospice of the North Shore's Kaplan Family Hospice House.

The Solimines are avid skiers. Dave met Patty at Bretton Woods ski area and they introduced their sons to skiing as toddlers. Dave's favorite ski trip was with his sons in August of 2002 when they spent a week skiing the Andes at Portillo, Chile.
