Owner
Owner Lucy Dearborn brings over 15 years of experience in the lighting industry and a lifetime of passion for lighting to lucía. In just a short time on the Boston lighting scene, she has assembled a team of experts and created a successful business model that has captured regional and national attention and garnered awards and accolades around the nation.
After graduating from Salem State College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and a minor in Business, Lucy took a temporary job in a local lighting store. Over the course of her lighting career, she attended numerous lighting seminars and worked with amazing architects and designers, solidifying her passion for lighting design. Lucy is thrilled with the evolution of Lucia as one of the fastest growing lighting showrooms in New England garnering industry, media and community accolades. A member of the Executive Board of Designers Lighting Forum, Lucy is active in many trade, community and business organizations. She was named Businessperson of the Year in 2009 by the Lynn Chamber of Commerce and is a Certified Lighting Specialist.
